Beliefs

I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three equally divine persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)

I believe that the Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inerrant Word of God that reveals God’s character and plan of salvation. Scriptures are given to man for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction of righteousness so that we can be complete and prepared for every good work. (2Timothy 3:16-17)

I believe that God created man and woman to have dominion on the earth that He prepared for them.  However, the first created humans (Adam and Eve) disobeyed the command of God.  As a result, the sin nature is passed to each of us.  We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

I believe that God the Son (Jesus Christ) came to earth to reconcile mankind’s relationship with God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.  He was fully God and fully human.  Jesus lived a sinless life, and was crucified on the cross to pay the price for the sins of mankind.  He was resurrected on the third day in power and now sits at the right hand of the Father to make intercession for us. (1 Timothy 3:16)

I believe that when anyone submits to God’s grace and places their faith in Jesus as the sufficient sacrifice for their sins that they are saved.  Salvation is a gift from God that cannot be earned. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

I believe that Jesus will return and the dead will be raised.  The unbeliever will be condemned to eternal punishment, and the believer will be assigned to eternal joy in His presence. (Revelation 20:12-21:4)

Will you believe?

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  (Romans 10:9-10)
